Sovereign's approach is to invest alongside the physician partners and become a minority equity partner, allowing the vast majority of ownership to be held by the physician partners. We invest for our equity, and we secure our portion of any necessary financing. With this approach, Sovereign makes every attempt to align incentives so every partner is pulling in the same direction and working towards the same goals.
Sovereign has deep experience in assisting physicians in getting organized, making sure the right terms are in place between the partners so that the project is set up for long-term success, and managing the process of getting from organization to operation in as quickly of a time period as is possible.
