North Valley Surgery Center is located in Scottsdale, Arizona. The physician partnership has over 20 physician-owners with specialties including orthopedic surgery, ENT, general surgery, podiatry, gastroenterology, gynecology, urology, and pain management. The center has four state-of-the-art operating rooms and a procedure room for minor procedures. In addition, the center has been fortunate to assemble a highly-skilled and dedicated team of nurses, technicians, and other team members who are dedicated to providing the highest levels of patient care.
The 16,000 square foot surgery center received its state license and Medicare certification from the Arizona Department of Health Services and opened for patients in July of 2005. On December 31, 2009, North Valley Surgery Center became majority owned by Scottsdale Healthcare/Sovereign, a joint venture between Scottsdale Healthcare and Sovereign Healthcare which has been formed to acquire or develop outpatient surgery centers in partnership with leading physician specialists in Scottsdale and adjacent areas.
