Bill Gray, Director of Operations
Gray joined Sovereign in 2009 to assist in the management of Sovereign’s Southern California facilities. As a former surgical technician who went on to obtain his RN, and as someone who has actively worked in the operating room for over 15-years, Gray brings a strong clinical skill set to Sovereign’s team.
Gray began his career as a surgical technician at a level-1 trauma center in San Diego where he worked for 5 years. He then joined the Crown Valley Surgery Center in Mission Viejo, California, where he has spent the past 12-years, the last 8 of which he served as the Director of Nursing and Administrator. Gray was responsible for all aspects of center management, from staffing, to billing and collections, to managing inventory levels. Gray also led the center through its Joint Commission (JCAHO) accreditations every three years.
Gray received his B.S. in nursing from Excelsior College.
